Samson holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Sociology from the University of Lagos, and a Master of Industrial and Labour Relations (MILR) degree from the University of Ibadan.Samson possesses extensive experience in managing the core areas of Human Resources and stakeholders in multinational company environments – from Country, Regional and Zonal/Global levels –with testimonials of value added contributions to business development and growth in difficult operating environments, and with business results that stand out.

He was the Head of Human Resources for Nestle in Nigeria, and then after appointed to the position of Head of Human Resources for Nestle in Central & West Africa. Samson was later posted to the Nestle Global Head Office in Switzerland where he served on an expatriate status for about 12 years. While in Switzerland, Samson initially served as an HR Coordinator in the Human Resources Function. Later he was appointed to the Corporate Total Rewards Function as the Compensation & Benefits Manager for
Asia, Oceania, Africa & the Middle East.

While in Switzerland, amongst other achievements, Samson was responsible for the installation and reviews of remuneration programs for the Markets under his scope covering Asia, Oceania, Africa & Middle East. He also led world-wide projects for the Nestle Group, including being a key leader in the
alignment and transformation of the Group’s Total Rewards Function, as well as the implementation of the Nestle Living Wage program in all countries of the world, in which Nestle operates.

Samson is a certified Strengths Coach by the Gallup Organisation; a Center for Coaching Certification USA Certified Master Coach, as well as an International Coach Federation (ICF) credentialed Associate Certified Coach (ACC). He has featured as a Speaker to professional groups on several HR subjects in China, the UK, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Turkey, Dubai, Malaysia, Switzerland, in addition to leading global webinars on relevant HR topics within the Nestle Group. He has worked as an internal company Coach to HR and Compensation & Benefits Leaders in many countries while still in the employment of the Nestle Group.

Currently, Samson is the CEO of Thrive Coaching Centre and HR Consulting Services Limited, and is based in Lagos, Nigeria. The main methodologies adopted for working with their Clients include: Coaching, Consulting, Training, and Mentoring. They also help with strategies for employees’
engagement and mobilization to realize set goals. As a professional coach, Samson’s niche areas are in:- Leadership/Executive, Talents/Strengths, team/group and transition coaching.

Samson and his team are driven by the belief that their clients can thrive against the odds in life and career, and they work with their clients to improve their ability to do so. He serves as an Events’ Speaker. He is the author of the Book, ‘Thriving Against The Odds – 15 Ideas For Professionals,
Executives & Leaders To Sustain Advancement’. Samson is passionate about partnering to develop and grow identified talents, professionals and corporate executives, as well as teams and private individuals.
