CATCH THEM YOUNG

Age 8-10 years and 12-15 years respectively

There is this common phrase, ‘Catch them young’.  Unfortunately, many of our children have no idea of how companies and organisations operate and are managed. Consequently, when dreaming of and imagining future roles for themselves, the children are not well informed, and attracted to corporate roles for which they may be talented and can be trained for; eventually providing the route for them becoming the business leaders of tomorrow.

Programme Objectives

Will present the children the opportunity to run a mock company, as well as to be aware of the key roles relevant for companies to run effectively and efficiently. The children will also specifically be assigned to play in the corporate roles they desire (in their dream world). Professional counseling on corporate roles will be available.

Programme Content

  • Introduction to a standard organization structure of a ‘typical company’, and the key leadership roles
  • Exploration with participants of the corporate roles they aspire to occupy sometime in the future 
  • Counseling by professionals, of the participants on the corporate roles of interests they have envisioned for themselves
  • Mock management of a company by the participants to achieve an assigned performance objective – ‘using the allocated resources to achieve results’.
  • Mock ‘off site session’ by the business leaders & their teams – with the objective to chill out, relax, refresh & renew
  • Feedback session/personal lessons & takeaways

Date: Saturday 18th May, 2019 Time – 12.00noon – 3.00pm prompt

Price per participant: N 6,000 for one and N 10,000 for two children from the same family (Limited seats)
